Izak started his career as a massage therapist and worked at various large hotel spas and was fortunate to be part of the opening teams. This sparked an enrolment in a management development program and from there he progressed into management – managing various fairly large hotel-based spas.
Helping people and seeing the effect of treatments made him realise his deep passion for integrated health. When an opportunity at Renewal Institute arose, he knew that this was what he would like to pursue.
